A day before the U.S. Supreme Court hear arguments in the gun industry's challenge to the constitutionality of Chicago's handgun laws, Mayor Richard M Daley reiterated that reasonable, local gun laws are a responsible way to protect the nations streets, families and children from gun violence.
I think everyone should be given a city-paid armed body guard and then the streets of Chi-town will be safe.
Do you believe that?
Only high level union goons, third rate ward healers, brian dead Hollywood stars and corrupt politicians deserve such protection. The rest of us are expendable.
I remember when Rosie OD railed against gun ownership just after she hired armed body guards for her kids.
Bingo. Rosie is just another phony who thinks her life merits more than yours does.
Daley will quarter union thugs in your home to offset the hand gun band.
Is this something that usually happens during a SCOTUS deliberation ~ a non-lawyer appearing and giving his two cents worth on the case before the court??

I agree. In fact, Utah was ranked last with the Brady’s Scorecard. They even have allow college students to carry on campus (OMG I think I’m going to be scared!!!!)! Thank goodness for Chicago lawmakers & Mayor Daley! /s
They need the public at large to be needy, frightened, helpless and dependent. Not expendable, but more like hostages, or livestock, both of which may have value. The armed citizen is neither, and is the autocrat's worst enemy since he doesn't need a douche like Daley to protect him from his neighbor.
I hate to disagree but I will. Stalin and Hitler saw many as exependable. Even those who supported their rotten ideas. As to those who didn't we know what happened to them. As to the unwashed masses many ended up in ovens or died in Gulags.
There is nothing “reasonable” about Chicago gun control.
Everybody knows that gun control in Chicago is a great success and if we can just eliminate the GOD GIVEN right to have them then it’s butterscotch and gumdrop smiles for the masses.
