That’s what I was thinking. They thought we were crazy for even caring about Clinton.

Looks too much like Camille Paglia on the left (where *else* would she be?) for my taste.

Cheers!

She’s “in love” with that other guy? How juvenile! Can’t Bruni and Sarko just leave emotion out of it and keep to the time-honored French tradition of “cinq à sept”?

Some quotes from Mark Twain:

The objects of which Paris folks are fond--literature, art, medicine and adultery.
- - speech at the Stanley Club in Paris, ca. April 1879

France has neither winter nor summer nor morals--apart from these drawbacks it is a fine country.
- Mark Twain's Notebook

A Frenchman's home is where another man's wife is.
- Notebook #18, Feb.- Sept. 1879

M. de Lamester's new French dictionary just issued in Paris defines virtue as: "A woman who has only one lover and don't steal."
- quoted in A Bibliography of Mark Twain, Merle Johnson

Thanks, Moonman62, for the great quotes.

I don’t know why these people bother to get married. They sure do get bored really fast.

A 43 year old woman who can’t remain faitful to her husband after less than two years of marriage. What is wrong with these people? I know they are French, but Jeez!

He should change the locks at the Palace.
