OKLAHOMA CITY, - Authorities in Oklahoma said a man who crashed into a parking lot walked into a jail and offered a stick he called the "last tree in the universe" as payment.

Oklahoma County sheriff's deputies said Rondell Bailey walked into the downtown Oklahoma City jail with a stick and told deputies he wanted to offer the object, which he called the "last tree in the universe," in exchange for dropping any possible charges against him, KOCO-TV, Oklahoma City, reported Wednesday.

The deputies said Bailey left after being told the stick was not an acceptable form of payment and threw a brick through a jail window.

Investigators said they discovered a white powder suspected to be methamphetamine during a search of the suspect's truck.

Bailey was arrested on destruction of property and drug charges.

Sounds like a normal Democrat who’s been divorced from reality to me.

HEY!

I am the owner of that stick!

The "last tree in the universe belongs to ME!"

This crack-pot STOLE it from me! But that means...

...that means he MUST have found some way around my defenses... unless... could it be?

Do I have a traitor in my compound?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

"Rondell Bailey...told deputies he wanted to offer the object, which he called the "last tree in the universe"..."

I think he was trying to pull a fast one on the deputies 'cause I'm looking out my window here, and there's still a few more trees out there.

"The guy knew he was going out on a limb with the offering, but police said he was barking up the wrong tree."

A guy like that usually just leaves without putting down any roots.

Groan...

Only in Oaklahoma. The police were just doing their best to fight graft— it goes against their grain.

I think we should just leaf it there.

P.S. The last tree in the Universe has got to be pretty valuable. Maybe he should have tried e-bay instead?

He ought to be able to get off on a technicality. After all, he had just offered “the last tree in existence”, an obvious confession; the brick thrown at the jail window is clear evidence of remorse.

The hair should serve as the apology.

He probably just needs a job with a living wage and Obama should take responsibility. Time served would be fair.

The guy thought he could stick it to the cops, but he turned out to be a sap.

The police were stumped by his behavior. The guy is probably pining for his freedom about now.

Ooops, time for me to log out now..
