I have an 8330 and often get fustrated with the slow OS and numerous hard resets, battery pulls, however it still is a decent phone.

Blackberry needs to get their crap together or my next phone might be a droid. I refuse to buy an i-Phone and like my service provider, Verizon.

I had a crackberry “storm” for a little over a year and was less than impressed with it. For one thing, it would periodically lock up for no apparent reason and have to be “re booted”. The touch screen was useless and the quality of the phone audio was poor. Seriously take a look at the Motorola “droid”. Much faster processor and touch screen works well. Whichever phone you buy, my suggestion is to try them out at the store before you choose.

You can get a BB 85XX for under $30 with a two year contract.

I have a BB 8320. Really like it. My previous phone was a Dash-10 and it was a piece of crap.

The Boost Blackberry is actually running on the Sprint network, so it has fast texting and data, unlike the older Boost/Nextel walkie-talkie phones.

One difference is that the Boost phones will ONLY operate on Sprint towers and will not roam on other providers' towers as real Sprint contract phones will.

Since you're going to pay $60/mo for Boost, it would be better to just pay $69/mo for a Sprint BB and have full coverage.

Let me know when there is a 10 Meg camera, 100 gig MP3 player, a GPS and a decent phone in a single device.
