In response to Obama's delayed trip to Indonesia, Nancy Pelosi said, "I'm delighted that the President will be here for the passage of the bill, it's going to be historic, and it would not be possible without his tremendous leadership." She also said, "It won't be long before we'll be making real difference in lives of the American people."

And in years to come, when the bill is seen to be a total failure, she and her ilk will be defending Obama saying “it wasn’t his fault, he really had nothing to do with it, blame someone else (Bush, Rove, Romney, Palin, etc etc)”.

This guy is really making friends world-wide. Imagine the arrangements that need to be made for the visit of the POTUS. Then imagine having to re-schedule everything on short notice. You can bet that some Indonesian profanities are being directed his way and some Australian ones too.

Gosh, Nancy, that sure makes it sound like you don’t actually expect the Senate to pass the reconciliation part of this bill since you know there’s no chance in hell they can do so before 3/21. Perhaps the fix is in and you are selling your colleagues down the river?
