That is something that bothers me a great deal about this healthcare bill. Right now, a person could go “galt” with income tax, could live off the land, etc. You still have the problem with property tax (but at least that is local government).
However, if I understand correctly, this healthcare bill is a way for Demonrats to gain control over even those trying to extract from the system. I think the same is true of the EPA regulations that have been proposed on small gardens, and livestock.
I know of people, who have home birthed. They have not gotten their kids SS numbers. Back in the old days, I didn’t get one until I needed a job. Wouldn’t it be great not to be in that database?
