Well well well....looks like Kappa Sigma national had put their Lambda Epsilon (UCF) chapter on PROBATION at some point this year....according to their alumni page:
http://www.ksaacf.org/
Kappa Sigma has placed the ΛE Chapter on probation. During the probation period, the undergraduate brothers cannot attend or participate in a fraternity event or other official gathering where alcohol is being served. Therefore, no alcohol will be available at the dinner and please do not have alcohol with you during the golf event or at the chapter house.
And in searching around, it appears this ain't the first time they've been on probation either. Looks like UCF had them on probabtion last year.
Fraternity chapters on national probation tend to need money, and often resort to unscrupulous means to acquire it. This smells even funnier now.

Did these 53 separate carloads of event attendees each just randomly decide to park in the inconvenient and unlawful parking lot for no apparent reason?
<><>><><><<
I went to a concert on a smallish college campus a few months back. Had no idea where the venue was in relation to the parking. I just followed the other cars to a lot on campus.
I know plenty of people that would walk a quarter of a mile to save whatever the parking fee is at the lots closer to wherever they are going.
But, this situation? I have not the slightest idea.

Offended? The folks that had their cars towed should be offended. It doesn’t matter where other parking was available, if someone put a sign out that said “Park Here” and then had the cars towed, they should be held accountable. Also, I sincerely hope that you didn’t register on FR just to defend this crap and if you get offended that easily you won’t last long on here anyway.

Man oh man, just how long does a Glen Beck event take? The tow truck guy says it took him EIGHT hours to tow all those vehicles.

If the attendees were enticed into false event parking, then Glenn Beck should: 1) hire a lawyer on behalf of the attendees and depose the owner of the property; 2) sue the person who had knowledge of, or responsibility for the fraud. Sue the college if there is any connection. I agree. Some jokes are funny. A joke that costs you $125 and a lot of lost time is not funny.
Whoever pulled this prank should get to deal with the consequences.
I'll bet a prank that costs you $6000 plus a lawyer is really not funny.

I have a couple of attorney friends. I don’t know about handling other people’s problems, but I know if this happened to one of them- well, I would hate to be the person responsible for such a deception.
In fact, one of them told me a few months ago that she is giving hell to a company that pulled the same trick on her - etc. “It’s not the money, it’s the principle of the thing.”

A full police investigation should be held.
UCF should suspend them until the investigation is finished.
The national chapter should suspend the fraternity at once.
Too many problems.
People the same age are remaking the Middle East with guns, diplomacy and their lives. These goofballs really look bad and they have disgraced the national organization.

Gotcha. I was thinking a talk, so at most a couple of hours.

Glenn Beck should reimburse the victims, something O’Reilly wouldn’t hesitate to do.

The tow truck company must have a record of who called him and authorized the towing. It sounds like he was taken in by a fraud also. If he cooperates with authorites he should be off the hook, if he withholds the info then he is complicit in the fraud.
It shouldn’t be to hard for some reporter to determine who made the tow call. If you car got towed, I believe you are entitled to know who demanded the tow.

For Tea partiers going to the Searchlight meet in the barren Nevada desert lands, there were lib shysters along the way with signs misdirecting traffic off on side roads. (And a side road in those barren wastelands - particularly with a camper trailor - can take you a long way out of your way.
It looks like these tactics are part of a new game plan. Every one needs to be documented. (Were the tables turned, there would already be arrests and 24/7 MSM outrage.)
