What logo is on the side of your running shoes? A swoosh, three stripes, or a big “N”, perhaps?
Exactly. I remember when “designer” labels and symbols started appearing visibly on clothing in the late 1970s. It’s been a very successful marketing tool, but the detriment to good taste and good character has been substantial. This ring, among all the items shown, would be fairly pretty if it didn’t have the logo on it. The little symbol reminds me of my dad’s uniform eagles ;-).
I remember when people recognized high-end design because of the way it looked: you could tell a Chanel suit or a Versace gown. I guess designer items now can’t be identified without the seller’s name and logo all over it.
Never leave your shoes running...It's bad for the sole.
