On her April 5 satellite radio show, Rosie O'Donnell took her anti-Catholicism to a new level by likening the Catholic Church to the Jonestown cult. As Brian Maloney of The Radio Equalizer put it, "in Rosie's twisted world, there's really no distinction to be made between the Pope and Jim Jones, murderous cult leader responsible for the deaths of more than 900 people in the Guyanese jungle."
O'Donnell certainly has a past of Catholic/Christian bashing. On the April 19, 2007 edition of ABC's The View, she expressed her concern that having five Catholic Supreme Court justice somehow violated the separation of church and state (Barbara Walters actually defended these justices in response). Later in 2007, the Catholic League placed an ad in the New York Times complaining about O'Donnell and her then-colleague Joy Behar's anti-Catholic remarks on the ABC daytime program

Why even pay attention to fat head?
Rosie who?
Rosie, if you don’t like it just go away.
Rosie is looking forward to another go at her talk show once Oprah leaves.
At some point, Someone is going to explain to these dolt just how wrong she is. She probably won’t be so smug after that conversation and its aftermath.
Many of us Freepers call that Someone “God.”
Consider the source...
Move along -- nothing to see here.
Well, the Catholic Church has lasted 2,000 years, and O’Donnell’s radio show probably won’t last more than a couple of months.
Theres plenty of documentation available thats she despises Jews and Catholics. . I dont have any proof, but I’d be willing to guess she doesent like Protestants either
Rosie is a freak of nature, less interesting than a two headed cow and less attractive.
If only she had been at Jonestown.
The only thing she know or cares about the Catholic church is that it doesn’t bless her “life style”.
That is the amazing part. This woman is just plain nasty and mean. Even putting aside her extreme political views, she has a history of being vicious to people she works with and God help you if you work for her (remember the “I hope your cancer spreads” comments she made? And yet some network thinks she’s acceptable for prime time viewing.
What is the difference?
Thankfully, I won’t have to see her in the afterlife.
Pray for Her! Pray for Her! Only God can change her.
I guess if Joy Behar can get her own show, Rosie can.
Put her in a room for a while with a few good Irish Catholics.
