Are you afraid that by hearing dialogue such as this you can be brainwashed to withdraw your support for Sarah Palin?

You got me, spot on. I'm afraid of being brainwashed. No, I just don't like a private citizen being called the devil incarnate, and made fun of all season long. I've never seen it done on a tv show before. You happy now that you got your smartass remark in? I swear, some of the people here act like liberals and just look for arguments. It's not about agree or disagreeing. It's the way it's done. One of the reasons I rarely post. So many people looking to start sshit, like you.

Pretty sad that Julianna Margulies has had to transform herself into Famke Janssen to get TV roles anymore.

Sad to say that it looks to me as if Julianna had a facelift gone wrong or something. There's something odd looking about her face. She's still pretty in a certain light, but it almost looks as if she was in a fire or something.

I’ll continue to watch it. I like Gary Cole’s character a lot and want to see where they end up going with the two of them.

I’m sure he’ll be made to look like the conservative idiot in the end. A case will come up where a crackpot shoots up an abortion clinic or something along those lines. Baranski will come out shining, all full of I-told-you-Sos.

Needless to say, my husband and I are done with the show.

What's hard to fathom is you you started in the first place.

To be honest I had a relationship with a women for just under a year that seem to end one night just before the 2008 elections for no particular reason.

But it was the one night the subject of Sarah Palin was touched on in passing (she brought it up) when she hinted she didn't care for her and me saying I did....

To be truthful we has both avoided talking politics and I think it because we really did like each other and I think we both knew we might not mesh in that area…

(And also that she has ask me out first just out the blue as we had really never talked before starting to go out we had just seen each other as regular at a local place and “looks wise” was “out of my league”, very hot thick lush curvy calendar model type build (and great hair all my female friends always commented on her speculator long thick hair?! what with women and hair? along with her super buxom built.... but also gave me their approval of her ….....Always get the opinion of several women you trust on the new women in your life it will save you grief later)... And also she younger, mid 30's vs my early 50's, so I was not in the mood to "rock the boat"... gee im bragging a bit:)

Bottom line politic can kill even the best relationship

I would say she was not a political person and, she was not a real lib but a political correct person by peer pressure…she work in Hollywood as a studio as an executive assistant>p> A lot of people I think just go with the flow around the left because most on the left are just unthinking bulling pricks claiming to be enlightened and tolerant….

What real funny is I do get along with real libs (some far left types) that really are thinking people, because we enjoy the debate, but true thinking people on the left seem to be about 1% …

The rest are either, young and naive at about 40%, bulling pricks at about 50%, and then the real evil power hunger manipulators types at 9%

“Of course, maybe unwittingly, the show’s writers have displayed the absolute shallowness of liberals. “

Mrs. Crusher and I love the show because it is intelligent, extremely well written, and often witty without being silly. IMHO the writers are purposely showing the shallowness of liberalism through Baranski’s character. The criticisms (mostly implied, sometimes overt) of Obama’s Chicago and the endemic corruption of the ruling cabal of Democrats is refreshingly new on drama television.

Sure, they regularly snipe at Sarah (good grief, given her prominence in today’s world they would be foolish not to) but that pales in comparison to the broadsides they have been sending at libtards. The show is a pretty stark exploration of integrity and the consequences of corruption. No wonder the libtards look so bad.

What's hard to fathom is you you started in the first place.

I enjoy courtroom dramas. We watched The Practice for the entire run, and they never pulled this crap. I can take the saving the earth shows, the abortion episodes that go against pro-choice, etc. What bothers me is how The Good Wife has the Sarah Palin hate a running theme throughout almost the entire season. I wouldn't like to see that done to anyone, liberal or conservative.

I really like The Good Wife. The character Christine would obviously feel that way. She is behaving stereotypically liberal feminist high brow lawyer, who was also almost nominated as a Democrat candidate for judgeship. Her love interest is polar opposite and would be the type to post on FR. It is a very interesting show. And well written and fair. One of the few quality dramas on TV.

I don’t know if I can get through to you but, the conservative ballistic expert is portrayed as a man of principle and the Chicago liberals are portrayed as confused ideologues, incompetent judges or crooks. I’ll continue watching.

Conservative writers, trying to make liberals look bad. That would be a first. I’ve never missed an episode, and I watch closely. I’ve never heard a word about the corruption of Democrats. Never heard Obama’s name mentioned, although I did see him hanging on a poster in her kid’s room and in a judge’s office.

It’s practically impossible to escape anti-conservative/Republican references in modern movies or tv. I was watching that HBO documentary (Bird vs. Magic) the other week, and at one point the show started talking about the political atmosphere of that time. They declared the eighties a time of racial turmoil, AND THEN SHOWED A PICTURE OF REAGAN!!! as if he and the Pubbies had declared war on black america. They thereby ruined what was a pretty good documentary by smearing Reagan with lies. Lib writers and producers are perpetually looking for ways to spread their malicious, leftist-slanted, political warfare.

Most excellent way to lose 1/2 of your viewship....those writers are sure smart and must want to lose their jobs because of low ratings......

Hmmm. Did you not see the episode where an Obamanista judge was selling black kids to a juvenile detention center? (His connection to Obama was part of the story line) Did you not see the episode where the Baranski character was being nominated for a judgeship by corrupt Dem pols, and the episode exposed them for being hack and poltroons? Part of the story line was that the Dems hacks were ordering her on what to say and who to associate with? In the end she demanded to think independently, so they dropped her like a hot potato.

Corruption is more than mere graft and bribery.

Oh, baloney. I thought that was the direction it was going, too, but then they did a little Hillary bashing to even it out. Are we so insecure we can’t stand ANY jokes aimed at our side? I’m not. For true conservative-bashing, try on Law And Order (in any of its incarnations) for size.
