NBC lost a bundle on Olympics!
might not be hard. Newspapers want a bailout.
Disney, GE, Wal-mart, Microsoft, Bank of America, ExxonMobil, Chevron, GM, ConocoPhillips, Apple, Ford, Citigroup, AT&T
Knock yourself out.
I would love this, the cheerleading being done by the mainstream media the past couple of years for the Democrats is out of control, as is their coverage of average Americans. I would love to ask these so called “journalists” if their employers supply the knee pads for them or if they have to buy them on their own.
The “MSM” is no longer mainstream. They are already doing a great job of putting THEMSELVES out of business. One needs only to look at the network ratings, and the news circulation figures to see that they are driving viewers/readers away by the millions. They cannot survive for long at the rate they are moving.
And my heart is not exactly breaking about it.
We really don’t have to do anything. What with the likes of Keith Olberman, Chris Mathews, Ed Shultz, those wacko’s on SNL, Bill Mhar, etc. they’re doing it to themselves ...
Associate Press (AKA All Propaganda) is the poison that corrupts the whole MSM. Most outlets, including Fox News, merely reuse what ever the AP wire is putting out. Most journalists are lazy arrogant clowns. They merely restate what they hear AP tell them rather then actually do the basic research to discover the facts.
Democrats have know this and have developed extensive personal, and family, ties with the AP. Ties that would be a clear conflict of interest in any other industry are ignored by AP. This allows known Democrat partisans at AP to shape the media message on any given topic.
The problem is not so much the Media as a whole, the problem is they all rely almost exclusive on the poison fed them by Associated Press wire service.
If you want to fight against the MSM, simply use the tactics of the left...ridicule them to your friends, family, and co-workers.
Notice how they are not reporting the story of the Republicans attacked in NOLA by leftist thugs?
Imagine if some liberals were attacked and brutally beaten by a gang of right-wing thugs? It would be getting 24/7 coverage by the MSM.
Cancel cable and sat TV - period. Even if you do not watch CNN and the others - your cable bill is divided up based on channels. CNN has about 5 or 6 including headline news, turner and a few others $3 a month you pay to them.
General Electric has NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, and a few others = $3 a month. Viacom has CBS, MTV/VH1, Nickelodeon and a few others. Another $3 a month. Ditto ABC/Disney has probably 5 or 6 channels. Also sports is profitable and keeps the liub propaganda news alive.
Fox? Too close to the Saudis. Better than the others but they are Fox/Saudia in my book.
Boycott anything else these companies are involved in. GE has Universal Studios, ABC/Disney = toys and parks. GE - avoid their appliances, light bulbs anything financial, etc etc. I know doctors who said GE was a rip off on their MRIs. They wanted to buy American but went with German, Dutch or Japanese companies. Good move because NBC/MSNBC is pro-Obama and ObamaCare.
Count me in.

More of the BIG LIE! Brought to you by the Leftie’s Propaganda Mahine (AP).
Having been one for a quarter-century — I was recently forced into early retirement for being the token conervative in my newsroom — Im sick to death of journalists telling us what were supposed to think.
Just file your story, and shut up!
The J-school rot was pretty bad when I got into the biz in 1983, but there were still enough old-timers to ensure that reporting was merely biased.
Actually, you cant help being biased one way or another. Its just how you pick your biases. Me, Im biased in favor of the U.S. Constitution and free-market capitalism.
But as Glenn Beck says, theres a difference between being biased and being complicit. Im not sure exactly when the media crossed that line, but were certainly there now.
Ive got a little advice for all you Freepers. By all means vote your congresscritter out of office come November. But Tea Partiers should be directing a lot of their efforts toward making their displeasure known to their local MSM outlets.
Over my long newspaper career, Ive learned that sometimes framing the questions is harder than getting the answers.
For years, Ive been asking myself, is it the MSM propping up the RATS or vice versa? I now think the former.
Honestly, how many of these RAT traitors would have any political career if they werent being promoted all the way by the MSM?
Anyway, youve got my permission to make life miserable for your local progressive publisher and his editorial board hacks and Ivy League metrosexual reporters.
Still, I am cautiously optimistic about the future. We all know from the excellent Dinosaur Media Death Watch how much business the Mostly Scum Media is losing.
Are the RATS taking any steps to bail out their their MSM toadies? Not really.
Considering how dependent he is are on the MSM propaganda machine, I would have thought that Emperor Bozo the Usurper would have made it a porkulus package priority.
Makes me wonder. Heres some possibilities
1.) The RATS just havent gotten around to socializing their noise machine and are leaving this project for later.
2.) The RATS really are that dumb and forget how, despite everything theyre doing to destroy the free market, the market will not be denied forever. And that means a large chunk of the MSM wont be economically sustainable in its current form.
3.) The MSM are not just presstitutes but cheap sluts who actually give it away. If a story ever broke about Chris Matthews or Keith Olbermann taking RAT payoffs, I could at least give them the grudging respect due to cunning scoundrels. But as things stand today, theyre not just fools, but tools.
By the way, although I doubt any of my former “colleagues” hang out on Free Republic, let me note that I am only 52 and am busting my chops on my professional comeback. I have a long memory, and am really looking forward to firing some Ivy League metrosexuals.
Was Interpretative Reporting by Curtis MacDougall used in journalism schools?
The MSM needs to be hijacked and led into a dead-end alley, Animal House style.
(That is, if they don't do it on their own first. Mo-rons.)
