Jeez...you’d think a dog bred to bait bulls would know better.

Get a good look at that collar. I train different types of dogs and all of them are taught to Heel, to walk beside me on a loose leash and no leash at all. Each and every one of them do preform this task at home, out on the street, and in the ring around other dogs. I use my voice and my voice only to restrain fully grown attack trained german shepherds. I can command them to take a bite and I can call them off with only a voice command. I am in control, not them. I completely control working stock dogs with a whistle from a half mile away. I can even work two bordercollies at the same time at that distance. So pitt bull owners, show me some of this with your dogs. What I see is the pit bulls pulling their owners down the street and I have to wonder which is more stupid. The dog because it isn't smart enough to do what it needs to do or the owner who actually believes it is them who is in control.

Believe what you wish, it is delusional to think that dogs who have been trained to fight to death can ever be re trained, and be trusted.

Just think.
People read posts like that and judge all conservatives by them.

I watched every single episode of the Vicks series therefore it is not a matter of “believing what I wish”; it is a matter of believing what was true.
Did *you* watch the shows?

How much money have you made testifying in court against pit bulls and their owners?

A pinch collar does less harm to a dog than any other type of “choke” training collar.
It works based on the inborn nature of a puppy to behave when its mother gently squeezes its neck.
*Most* dogs, when x-rayed, display cervical damage from “regular” training collars.
[the “corrective yanking” does the damage...even when done with flat “no choke” collars]
A pinch collar requires NO yanking.
Just the tiny bit of acupressure applied changes the dog’s behavior.
The person with that dog is displaying -responsible- behavior because NO dog is “bullet proof” and a dog off lead in public is a disaster waiting to happen.
Oddly enough, the only dog who ever “bit” me was Border Collie.
No pit, Dobe, GSD, Rott, Mastiff [or any other breed, extant] has ever even so much as raised a lip at me.
The only issue I have with that photo is that the owner does *not* have the collar properly placed or shortened to the correct length.

Thank you for your honesty.
They rerun them periodically.
Try and catch them.
What they did with those dogs was nothing short of miraculous.
[and they do similar “miracles” every day of every year with hundreds of “hopeless” dogs]

Some people shouldn’t have pits. Just like some people shouldn’t have kids.

My pit was always a little embarrassed by the behavior of other dogs. They are a breed apart.
