“Snowed 33 inches just south of Denver yesterday.”

Damn Gorebull warming will kill of us by freezing us to death.

We have a winter storm warning for N California:

A winter like storm system is forecast to move onto the northern California coast late Monday and then sweep across the rest of northern California Monday night and Tuesday. This system has the potential to bring significant rainfall to the lower elevations and significant snowfall to the mountains above the 5000 to 6000 foot range. The heaviest precipitation with this system is now expected during the day on Tuesday as the main part of the system moves through.

Scattered showers may continue behind this system
through Wednesday. Total rainfall amounts could range from one third of an inch to around an inch for the Central Valley with the highest totals over the eastern and northern parts of the valley.

One to two inches of rain are possible for the foothills and
mountains with up to two feet of new snow possible at the highest elevations of the Sierra Cascade Range.

Snow levels will initially be high at over 7500 feet then drop to around 4500 feet over Shasta County to near 6000 feet for the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada during the afternoon on Tuesday.

As colder air filters into the area... snow levels will drop
further with snowfall possible down to the 2500 foot level over Shasta County to around the 3000 foot level for the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada Tuesday night and Wednesday. Little or no snow accumulation is expected at those lower elevations.

In addition to the rain and snow... strong winds are expected with this system. The northern Sacramento Valley could see wind gusts above 30 mph. Winds over higher elevations of the mountains could gust up to 40 to 50 mph Monday night and Tuesday. The combination of wind and snow could bring white out conditions at times over the higher mountain passes of the Sierra Nevada on Tuesday.

Those with outdoor activities planned from Monday night through Wednesday should be prepared for inclement weather. If planning to travel in the mountains... be sure to carry tire chains and check the latest Road and weather reports before departure.

36 degrees in Eureka this morning with clear skies. My old bones need at least 55 degrees to even go out and bring in the paper let alone keep the weeds from taking over the garden...

We have a winter storm warning for N California:

Now that CA has climate change legislation--you and trophy wife numero uno will not have to worry about such storms. Just pay those extra taxes and the world's climate will be forever better.

Soon the rest of us will chip in an extra 200-300 per month and everything will be perfect.
