Life Decisions International has taken the lead in making everyone aware that the TV Program called "American Idol" is (and apparently has in the past) aligning itself with pro-abortion groups. They have reported a little know fact that among the groups benefiting this year's "Idol Gives Back" fund-raising campaign are Save the Children and the United Nations Foundation. "Idol Gives Back," which airs tonight, will feature several celebrities who will urge Americans to make a donation.

Save the Children has a working relationship with what it calls "prominent international organizations." Several of these groups are actively pro-abortion, including Better World Fund, Center for Reproductive Rights, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Population Action International, and the U.S. Committee for UNICEF.

Several divisions of the United Nations have donated funds to Planned Parenthood and the body has wholeheartedly embraced its abortion and population control agenda.

"It is laudable that the people involved with 'American Idol' want to help the poor," said LDI President Douglas R. Scott, Jr. "But it is tragic that they would choose to do so through groups like the Save the Children and the United Nations Foundation. These groups have far too much deadly baggage."

While LDI had originally said that Simon Cowell of American Idol was/is the CEO of International Save the Children, it turns out that information is incorrect. The current CEO is Jasmine Whitbread, who was appointed to the position just last month according to the LDI "Update".

Scott urges that "If you believe the plight of preborn children is as important as the plight of the poor, do not participate in 'Idol Gives Back,'" Scott urged. "We are caring people who want to do our part to help those less fortunate, but we will do so through organizations that do not view the killing of human beings as a 'solution' to poverty and other adult-created problems."

It is worth noting that "American Idol" recently supported a fund-raising campaign by Planned Parenthood of Los Angeles.

This is the same strategy used by The March of Dimes.

Aborting children prevents birth defects the same as aborting children prevents childhood poverty.

It's a demonic thing.

What a crew of losers they had on last night. I do NOT mean the contestants. Icky, horrible creatures that thought they could sing.

It is. But when the birth rate no longer sustains the population. In 20 short years or less the muslims will be the majority. Then the abortion worshippers will have the pleasure of living as slaves under sheria law.

What one sows, one also reaps. Sooner of later, there is always a harvest.

Really? I had no idea March of Dimes used that excuse as well. My father donates to them yearly since I was born extremely premature, four months early, and hardly made it, back when not much was known about premature infant care and development.

We are a strongly pro-life family. I will let him know of this. That disgusts me beyond belief and only increases the rage I feel when I heard about “Idol”.

How could anyone trust Idol to do the moral things? They have turned into a cesspool.

The only charities I trust are the ones who are overtly Christian. Even then, I have to research them throughly first.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. My younger brother was also a premie.

Glad to hear you made it.

I don't know how old you are but back when Hillary's husband was dictator, his Surgeon General, Joycelyn Elders let the cat out of the bag as it relates to The March, birth defects and abortion.
