You know what bothered me? Following their scenario, if there WERE kids and the cop approached, the dog would have to turn to run at the cop. He shot the dog. That meant the kids would have been BEHIND the dog when he fired.

The lack of info in the article is unbelievable. Supposedly a dog threatened kids and a cop did fire his gun. Where’s the info? Were the kids still present when the cop fired? Had the “vicious” dog let them go? Were they EVER there? The reporter is either lazy or stupid. Maybe both.

Or, somebody with a grudge made a false report when a good opportunity presented itself.

But gee...what are the odds of *that* happening versus hyper-dimensional kids, callers and witnesses who just vanish into thin air?

Maybe the reporter is simply stating the [scanty] facts available to them, as reported by the cop.

Seems like he and the shot dog were the only beings actually present and accounted for.
