Cute, they took the worst features of the 1911...added them to the glock, and left out the good parts.

That issue was already solved by Springfied Armory with their XD line. They're far better designed than the Block. And it's come in .45 ACP for years.

the colt looks russian, which gives it a different kind of “cool”.

The hipoint gots nuthin. It looks like a rejected prototype of a crossman air pistol. Feels like one in your hand too.

I been wanting to try one of those. Farmer Dean was a lifelong 1911 carrier but switched to one of those (in 45) and swears by it.
