You may want to check out http://www.spokeo.com to see what personal information is there. Spokeo.com is a new online phone book w/personal information: everything from pics you've posted on FB or web, your approx credit score, home value, income, age, etc. You can remove yourself by first searching for yourself on their site to find the URL of your page and going... to the Privacy button on the bottom of their page to remove yourself which takes you to http://www.spokeo.com/privacy. Pass this onto those you care about.
Why bother...they don’t have anything right, including the city I live in.
Nothing damning on me. They have my old address from about 15 years ago and that is it. The pics are wrong and they wayyyyyy overestimated my personal wealth.
Humpf. My house is only worth $791,000.

Hey my house just appreciated the same way. Also see that I am still living with my ex from whom I was divorced in 1994.
Hopefully as people see the lack of reliability of their own data, they will not put any credence into anyone else’s. (I did put in for mine to be removed - thanks for the notice.)

Mine was wrong on almost every count, even on stuff that I haven’t made any secret of.
LOL, they got most of it wrong, I live in a million dollar house but I only make 27K a year. I have no children. As you can see, I rarely tell the truth on the internet.

It has me down under two separate names still in my ex-husband’s house. All the info is my ex’s.
They said the same about me. They have my husband as Asian and that we’ve lived in our home for 9 years, just 21 yrs off. It says I’m interested in toys.
My wife has been hiding two of the kids some where in my million plus dollar house that is in a below average area. Hey maybe the extra two kids arn’t mine.
They request even more information to be removed. I smell paranoia ripoff.
Quick removal of both listings.
This looks like an on-line invitation to ID theft!

I looked up myself and an adult daughter.
90% wrong.
I had to check my wifes name to find mine.
I’m confused. It says:

* Is not interested in politics
If I’m not interested in politics, why do I read about it?
They’ve got a bunch of other things that are screwy, too.
