Hi, Yorkie. It was a WWI Vet. I don’t know if she realized how long ago that he served.

She enjoyed helping me decorate family gravesites. She knows that we support the troops.

When in DC last September, she thanked many men in uniform for their service. I was very proud of her. It made my heart smile to see the smiles and hear the replies to her thank yous.

Thank you geologist. I really look forward to your posts. The Shemah is one of the most important Scriptures in the Bible. It was something that the People of God were to hold dear and repeat often and into perpetuity. If you read the Tanakh in the Hebrew makes the last letter of the first word larger and the last letter of the last word larger. The ayin daleth together means perpetuity. Another meaning is Witness. The Shema or Shemah calls us to be a witness for God forever or always.

That was very sad when Pat Tillman was killed. What a brave man to give up his football career to fight for our freedoms.
