As we become a more tolerant society we will find a world where speaking out in cases of this kind of abuse will be more difficult. I'm surprised Daniel wasn't charged with a hate crime.

I'm having a hard time with this one. The boy was 15 when this started? So did the guy overpower him and rape him, or did the kid "give in"? Why didn't he tell someone? Why did he continue to go over to the guy's house after the first time it happened?

If this had started when the kid was 7 or something, I could understand it - the whole "Stockholm Syndrome" thing. But he was 15.
