ELYRIA — A county judge Thursday found 16-year-old Daniel Kovarbasich guilty of voluntary manslaughter and aggravated assault in the Jan. 22 beating and stabbing death of Duane Hurley.

Daniel, who was tried as an adult, could get up to 10 years in prison when he is sentenced later this year. Had be been convicted of the murder and felonious assault charges he originally faced, Daniel could have been sentenced to 15 years to life in prison.

Daniel had taken the stand earlier in the day Thursday, telling Lorain County Common Pleas Judge James Burge that he killed Hurley to avoid having sex with the man who had sexually abused him since he was 15. Burge heard the case instead of a jury at Daniel’s request.

This story doesn't cover everything but this is clearly a case of this boy being groomed by an older man and the boy finally snapped and killed him. As we become a more tolerant society we will find a world where speaking out in cases of this kind of abuse will be more difficult. I'm surprised Daniel wasn't charged with a hate crime.

Homos can’t reproduce, they can only recruit.

You know, if somebody tells me he’ll give me $80 for sex if I go over to his place, I’m not going over to his place. Call me crazy.

They are like willing hosts for parasites. Kinda like those little fish that swim under sharks. They have to find other hosts so AIDS can survive.

And they do. Most of male homosexuals report being recruited themselves by older men. Even the gay icon Rock Hudson was molested by an older boy who had befriended him. That’s the way it usually happens. Out of the homosexuals I’ve known personally 75% I know were molested. At least one went on to molest two other boys grooming them with alcohol and drugs until they killed him violently. The one who I’m not sure was molested was illiterate and mowed grass for a living. It seemed more like a an arrangement of convenience. It has been my experience that the sexually screwed up are very manipulative. A lesbian I knew was always trying to trick heterosexual girls into relationships and was always chronically depressed. We are fed a very horrible lie in the name of tolerance and it will get worse and the silence will get more deafening because we are a nation of cowards on some issues. Don’t want to upset the sissies and dykes I suppose.

So it was consensual statutory rape then?

Not really “rape rape” < /Whoopi >

You so crazy!

What about if a gay guy approaches you, and take you home. He thinks he’s going to have sex with you, and you think you’re going to kill him and rob him. And you do.

Do you think you should get off because he’s gay and you’re underage?

I agree but there is more to this story. Abuse really screws with the minds of people especially when it is done by those who have gained their confidence.

I have an idea. Have a homo drill you in the rectal region for a while and see how your emotions are. You may just feel like killing him after a while.

I suspect the number is much higher.. if they were all honest.

I have a cousin who was molested from the time he was 2yrs old by a "friend of the family". By age 14...he was actively into drugs and recruiting other boys. He's now 46 and has spent 90% of his adult life in prison. Good-looking guy with a genius IQ. What a waste.

Hey, I guess it depends on why he’s doing it. Am I putting up with it for cash and toys, like this young gent? Do I want him to?

Is he forcibly raping me? (That’s what it would be, in my case.)

In my own case, I’d want to beat him off my with whatever was closest to hand, even a pickle jar. (Why was a big pickle jar in the bedroom? Who knows?)

If done for the other reasons, some folks will obviously feel differently.

I'm having a hard time with this one. The boy was 15 when this started? So did the guy overpower him and rape him, or did the kid "give in"? Why didn't he tell someone? Why did he continue to go over to the guy's house after the first time it happened?

If this had started when the kid was 7 or something, I could understand it - the whole "Stockholm Syndrome" thing. But he was 15.

I just don't get it.

Well it started well before he was 15. The press is really horrible at leaving out the details.

Watch this for the full picture. Also the Hurley character had a history of manipulating young men. It was the reason he was fired from a city job.

We live in a culture of denial today and it is disgusting. It is especially disgusting that so called “conservatives” refuse to fight harder on these issues. We defend marriage but won’t take on directly a bunch of activists who openly tolerate the targeting of underage boys. Its in their literature, its in their iconography, it is in their efforts to rollback the age of consent at a time when young people are even less capable of making adult decisions than possibly ever before.

I look at it in the same way we have the “abused wife/girlfriend/child” syndrome, while I have tremendous sympathy, we are a nation of laws and should expect everybody to make an honest attempt to follow those laws.

How many times have you heard of a guy who’s ruined by a flimsy and false accusation from wife/girlfriend/child?

I don’t know if we’ve gone too far in believing the victim act the expense of our founding principles (innocent until proven guilty), but we should expect victims to at the very least to try at least one their options before taking the law into their own hands.
