I agree with you.. there is no “convictable” evidence.. but I think there is sufficient probable cause to warrant an investigation.. IMHO

David is correct. Google has even responded to criticism and said they would look into it. Describing it as an anomaly...LOL

:) This story is certainly big today around the world... I had a gut feeling this morning that this story was not going to be easily “burried” today... not sure why.. but I am sure that by the end of the day we will ALL know.. watching with intrest..
So if the number they have is truly Obama’s number, he either lived in or applied for a number while living in CT.
That makes no sense at all.
You know, if this were a Republican, we would have a trail of AP reporters rooting through records in CT AND Kenya.

I responded to a thread about this last night...it has been out there before but never got any traction...lost in all the irregular and missing records outlined before and after the election.
I tried to follow the information about multiple numbers but I remember they were mostly used by “first lady”. I tried to follow the stories looking for a tax dodge, hidden income or bank accounts. There is a story there I am sure.
With enough FReepers on the job we can get to the bottom of ANY story I am sure of that..
That is a very interesting point you make. Obama once infamously said that there are '57' states (Hawaii the last to be admitted to the Union). If he's been juggling SSNs and tying numbers to states, it's not surprising he'd make a Freudian slip like that at some point.

It also depends on when it was issued I believe.
When it was claimed Obama’s was issued the first two numbers indicate the state. One’s prior to some date in the 70’s may be different.
Someone at Google needs to cut a bug. Seems the diversion option is broken! I click and what do I see? Nothing much. Just a few pages on Obama's strange Social Security number. What's up with that?

Do a user search for Sven Magnussen (not pinging him since he’s rarely on FR, or just every now and then) and read his comments. He seems to have inside info or something about this and some other 0kaka facts. The gist of it is that young 0kaka renounced his US citizenship while in Indonesia with his mother and stepfather Lolo Soetoro. Apparently it can be done even by a minor and Sven explains that.
Then, when things were getting tough in Indo - IIRC politically, they sent him back to the US with the refugee status - since he was now offiically an Indoneisan citizen, and the agency or org. that helped with refugees was in CT, so he got his SSN there.

I’m not so sure...my first 3 aren’t from the state I was born in, and my next 2 most definitely aren’t the year it was applied for.
I have seen a lot of left wing blogs shift from defending Obama’s U.S. Citizenship to saything that it does not matter if he is a U.S. Citizenship or not..
We must carefully guard against allowing the debate to shift this direction...
It ONLY matters because he is the PRESIDENT of the United States.. it is the ONLY office in the world that REQUIRES the holder to be a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN of the UNITED STATES.... IF he is not a nutural born citizen of the United States than he can hold ANY other job except the ONE JOB that he currently has... it REALLY IS a big deal folks..
