Now actually, you sound like an ex-PC fellow that built your own computers and found out early on that even the standard PC peripherals would work with your Apple system. That’s okay, but please don’t confuse your ideas with those of the normal Apple buyers. They are usually non-computer types that stick to a brand name. That does mean that they spend several thousand dollars for a system that is not exactly up to date - but they feel good afterward...

Deagle, you are a FOOL if you think that.

You are a PC user who is trying to tell Mac users who KNOW what they buy and what is being sold for their computers... We are users who regularly go into Apple Stores and who DO NOT FIND Apple branded peripherals. You are making a fool of yourself. Please stop. You are just digging a deeper hole.

The fact is that most Mac users are MORE Computer literate than most PC users... they are people who generally familiar with BOTH Windows and Macs because they use Windows at work but have made a conscious CHOICE to use Macs at home. They have CHOSEN to buck the trend and gone their own way against the majority.

That means WE Mac users are akin to bi-lingual people who can speak two languages while YOU are the mono-linguist. Bi-lingual people have a broader global view.

YOU only know your PC. You know NOTHING about Macs, and you demonstrate it with every post you make on this thread.

WE, on the other hand know more about BOTH systems. WE have more experience and facts on which to base our more knowledgeable opinions. So you are the ignorant one, Deagle.

A good example is your statement that Mac users " . . .spend several thousand dollars for a system that is not exactly up to date - but they feel good afterward..." when a complete iMac system with a 21.5" Monitor, with software, can be had for a starting price from the Apple store for under $1200, and a MacMini, also complete with software, can be purchased to be used with your existing monitor and keyboard, for less than $600.

Yet YOU are trying to tell us we don't know what we are talking about????

That is truly laughable.

Okay... so MAC users don’t pay more for the same PC (equivalent) that Windows PC users... You will have to show be some charts on that one...

You do seem to disregard way too much data on PC purchases and users, so I will just say that you are wrong.

If you really want to argue, let the market decide...

I will say that that statement alone shows your illiteracy about computers...
