Rain, snow and more rain is expected to fall along the Wasatch Front on Monday.
A storm that came in Sunday evening dropped almost a half an inch of precipitation at the Salt Lake City International Airport overnight, according to the National Weather Service in Salt Lake City.
Rain and snow showers were expected to continue throughout the morning before changing to rain showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Monday's high in Salt Lake City is expected to be around 55.
Snow also fell in Park City and Parley's Canyon on Monday morning, with more rain and snow expected in the afternoon.
But by Monday night things are expected to clear, with only a 20 percent chance of rain in the valleys. Partly cloudy skies are expected after midnight with lows around 40.
Utah is a high desert. Every drop of water is precious.
Besides, it’ll be smoking hot in a few weeks. So, for now, let it snow.
But some goofball swam a glacial lake to highlight the melting glacier! THAT is what made the news.
State Controlled Media to Americans: Ignore what you see and feel, listen to what we tell you.

My stepson and his wife and kids live just outside of Boise...had snow Saturday night! A week before Memorial Day! I think they’d all like to buy a little Global Warming right about now.
And it was ALL caused by my truck!!!
That Al Gore really gets around, doesn’t he?
In eastern Idaho we woke Sunday morning to 6-inches of wet snow and no power for about 10-hours. I have been scraping my windshild every morning for the past week. Still have the old wood stove going...please, send us some warming...global or otherwise!
