Welcome to Hippies Failing Badly!TM

Last week’s episode (showing at 8PM e/p):

SURROUNDED BY SPIES
Premiering Friday, June 4, 9PM e/p

As whaling season begins in the Antarctic, the Sea Shepherds embark on another dangerous campaign. With three vessels all launching from a different port, Captain Paul Watson now faces the daunting task of being the admiral of a fleet.

This week’s episode:

CROSSING DANGER
Premiering Friday, June 11, 9PM e/p

After repeated attempts to outrun and engage his pursuers, Captain Paul Watson makes a dangerous decision. Meanwhile, the Sea Shepherds' speedboat, Ady Gil, has returned to dock to repair their damaged radar.

When we left out intrepid adventurers odoriferous miscreants they were having some equipment issues.

PhotobucketThe Steve Irwin had sent out their rubber boat to search for whalers, but the radios didn’t work.

Photobucket The Bob Barker was still stuck in port with an engine that won’t start.

PhotobucketThe Ady Gil was returning to port with malfunctioning radar.

Photobucket Self proclaimed Admiral Paul Watson was not deterred.

Unable to locate any real whalers, Admiral Coco Puffs decides to chase a Japanese escort ship because getting good footage for the cameras is much more important than stopping whaling. Unfortunately, the escort ship is faster, better equipped and obviously manned by a better crew. Admiral Coco Puffs tried to duck behind an ice berg and then charge the Japanese escort ship. Oops. The Japanese turned their fire hoses on, and the Steve Irwin’s helicopter is exposed on the deck. Can the granola powered crew get the chopper put in the hanger before the Japanese see how waterproof it is? Tune in to find out.

you owe me a new keyboard

Put it in the dishwasher. Leave it upside down on a towel to dry for a week. It works, trust me.

They get paid by Animal Planet for each episode. They also get donations from Hollyweird actors looking for publicity. The reason their new ship is named Bob Barker is because Bob Barker gave them $1,000,000.

They are all volunteers, and they act like it. They all get fun titles, like Second Mate or Chief Cook. Often they have no experience at sea. They had an episode last year where they were trying to learn how to launch a small boat. I can’t believe no one was killed. I wouldn’t trust most of them to back a car out of the driveway.

Paul Watson would have his ass handed to him if he decided to go up against any of the crabbing captains from Deadliest Catch.

I’d love to see him spend a few hours on the deck of the Northwestern.

So Admiral Coco Puffs has figured out that the Japanese escort ship that is following him can radio his position to the rest of the whaling fleet. Of course, he was following the Japanese ship first.

He announced that he would lose the Japanese ship in the ice because he has more experience sailing through the ice than they do (he almost lost his ship last year doing this). He then left a member of Cypress Hill navigating the ship through the ice and went below to look at pictures on his laptop.

Now that’s leadership.

The ice breaker ship is safely in port, the tropical post 5000 miles away.

So Admiral Coco Puffs risked his ship and the lives of his crew going through the ice, and the much faster Japanese ship just went around the ice.

Oh, and the helicopter may not have enough fuel to make it back.

Brilliant!!

Not only incompetant but clearly cult-like....”Crew” comments on their like for new members ability to follow orders...then shaves the heads of the crew...works them hard...and rewards them with the Cults Uniforms.....

The comparisons to Obama and his Followers writes themslves..

Did you catch the comment by one of the crew of the Ady Gil about the women on the Steve Irwin smelling like hampsters after a few weeks at sea?

The crew of the Bob Barker can’t even take 10 foot swells. The Crabbers fish, that’s right, fish, in 20 foot swells.

And the crabbers can keep their engines running. Next week looks even better.
