Am I the only one seeing very strange FR behavior?
Posted on 06/17/2010 7:30:33 AM PDT by Minn
On the home forum page I see the last comment of each thread, rather than opening of the article. Haven't seen a mention of this anywhere.

I have observed some strange behavior on FR, on and off for years. I've observed some strange behavior from Freepers; you could ask Lazamataz... :0)

Sorry if my attempt at droll humor fell flat. :)

Consider the possibility that you are sound asleep and that all of this is just a dream.......I mean ...just think about it, o.k.?

Near the top of the page are three tabs called Articles, Activity and Comments. I usually leave mine set to Comments so I see the latest comments for each thread. It sounds to me like you had it set on Articles and may have accidently clicked on Comments. Try clicking on Articles and see if it doesn’t fix it.

See post #6 for the correct answer. That has happened to me and drove me nuts until I discovered the problem as described in post #6.

Yeah no doubt. For proof use keywords "Unnngh.." "Undead Thread" and any post by Constitution Day and/or Lazamataz

I ALWAYS keep it on Comments, FR is more fun that way. No I don’t see any strange behavior.

I resemble that remark, buddy!
To: Lazamataz; Constitution Day; pissant
"HEY! Grrr!" Prosecution enters into evidence:
From your profile: "It's THANKSGIVING! What am I thankful for? Im thankful this is the first year I didnt have to hide the bodies. Im thankful for the constant company of the radioactive robot zombies that follow me everywhere. Im thankful I finally quit huffing glue. Im thankful no one saw that incident in the Yankees dugout, and I deny everything. Im thankful every woman who sees me runs away, screaming. Im thankful most of the restraining orders are lifted."
the Prosecution rests! ;-)
And for me the Day you and Constitution Day and Pissant and all the other wackos leave FR I'm gone! Yes, I live vicariously through the posts you guys make and if you quit then the voices in my head will win!

Consider the possibility that you are sound asleep and that all of this is just a dream I've been coaching myself to consider, when a situation seems really strange, to consider the possibility that I'm dreaming. I actually did it the other night. I looked around, noticed that the scene I was viewing in my dream looked colorful and detailed, and even though the situation was bizarre and prompted me to consider the possibility, I and concluded that I wasn't dreaming.

Ah...but here is where it gets complicated, you might’ve been dreaming while you were concluding that you weren't dreaming.
On the other hand the whole question may be less important than what my cat had for breakfast and I don't even own a cat.
