I like him, he has a funny side and doesn't ever appear to take himself seriously..........
And as a starship captain, he had no equal, not even from that bald French guy.........
Don't forget, it was Kirk that first stood up to those damn socialist Klingons and also dispensed with those pesky leftist Tribbles.....
Lucky! He always seems like that guy in the crowd that everyone considers a massive jerk, yet you can’t help but like him. My husband saw him at a Star Trek convention one year and said he was hilarious.
