Fear isn’t always a bad thing. Besides, how often do you run up on monkeys in your everyday life? If she had a phobia about sidewalks or something, yeah find a way to conquer it. However, I’ve found that my life is not diminished in any way by the absence of monkey encounters.
Seriously. Why the heck did she feel a need to conquer her fear of monkeys? And to travel all the way from the UK to Thailand in this quest? I think the monkeys correctly sensed that a human nutjob had arrived in their midst, and figured it posed a threat.
