Yesterday, 6/29/10, everyone was certainly working for their families and friends, keeping track of the SCOTUS / Kagan dog and pony phony show, I get that, me, too.
What concerns me is the lack of stories, ink on what our side is doing other than elections. I realize clearly that we have not the votes to even take a bill out of committee, but please tell me that we couldn't create an internet buzz somehow if one "leader" from our side proposed a tax cut, a Republican contract (a la Gingrich), or some "plan" to take us out of the malaise (with malice from Obama and the Center for American Progress). I am not one to believe we're just frozen.
Does our side just have no spine? (Rhetorical) Does our side have NO ability to connect with the right internet folks to create such a campaign against Obama's policies? Or are they actually ok with where the country is going?
If they think when they retire their nest of governmental benefits and lobbying ability will be there they better think again. Their livelihoods are NOT SAFE. Are they just that blind and awestruck to just do nothing? If they are doing something, please someone here on FREEPLAND please let us know...does the new guy on www.newzeal.blogspot.com know more than we do about what our country is doing? That's sad if so. He's seemingly outscooping Drudge in a number of ways.
Just because it isn't reported doesn't mean it isn't happening.
Well, for one thing, we do not have any substantial media backing us other than Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, Cavuto, etc.
There is a time when being...TO NICE...just does not cut it. If you love our country you ATTACK WITH compassion.

Eagle...I doubt you will be...they will act tough...maybe fire off a few funny comments to get their 1 minute of tv clip time looking human for everyone to see so they are liked and talked about and then WHAM...disappear and vote for the liberal in Supreme Court clothing.

I'm getting a little tired of that excuse.
I'm happy that the old media is rotting away. The last thing that I want is for them to start reprting actual news again slow the process of their demise.
The "new" media reaches MANY people. Especially the people that need to be reached with the conservative message.
I LOVE what Sarah is doing with Facebook. My wife would NEVER be caught on FR, but she is on Facebook constantly. Same with my teen daughters.
Reagan spent years honing his conservative message (and credentials) as a travelling speaker for GE (and GE Theater). I think Sarah is doing the same thing with Facebook and her speaking engagements.
I'd love for a dozen or so other solid conservatives to be using the new media to get their message out.
I agree with you. That is no excuse for the lack of trying to get out a conservative message.
Did anyone else hear this? He's always been a buddy to Kennedy & others, but this is beyond the pale. He should be kicked out of office if he did that!!

The R’s sure get coverage when one of them gets caught in the wrong bedroom or playing footsy in the men’s room.
I agree that we need more positve action from our Conservative leaders.
They could spend more time coming up with antidotes to the viral bills the left is pushing thru congress.
During the GW 8 yrs, the dems were out there screaming and getting facetime everyday calling him names, complaining about everything.
We have a problem with the media not covering the R’s. They need to make enough noise that they cannot be ignored.
I post every article I can find on Face Book, know it drives my lib friends crazy, but it is getting word out.
It’s like living in bizarro world. Sad to see the destruction...This Kagan nomination, if it goes through, is a farce...they Dems are jamming the constitution right in our grill and our wimp GOP reps are taking it. Same can be said for the healthcare BS, the lack of attention on the Oil spill, the lack of support for our allies...it goes on and on.
