But with an eight-year-old son and four-month-old daughter at home, she knew she couldn't give up the work. The family needed every dollar.

This is NOT MY PROBLEM. My problem is that this story even exists.
I have taken care of patients, American born citizens, who are unemployed and have terrible hardships and illness-who have no insurance and are NOT able to get Medicaid. How is it that a non-citizen is able to get on Medicaid. How is this fair to actual American citizens who are tax payers? I feel sorry for her situation, but that Medicaid should be going to a citizen.
