Paul McCartney Joins Ringo Starr Onstage in New York (Meet The Twotles at Ringo's 70th birthday)

Ringo Starr kept his 70th birthday celebration going on Tuesday night (July 7) with a concert at New York's Radio City Music Hall that was positively star-studded, thanks in part to "a little help from his friend," Paul McCartney.

The former Beatles bandmates topped off the show by surprising audience members with a performance of "Birthday" from "The Beatles [White Album]," and appropriately so. With McCartney on lead vocals and Starr behind the drum kit, the duo performed with classic rock 'n' roll flair.

"Birthday" was preceded by another all-star collaboration, when Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band played "With a Little Help From My Friends" and were joined by a few extra notable faces, including Yoko Ono, Joe Walsh, Angus Young and Steven Van Zandt, to name a few.

I’d be more surprised with Paul joinging Pete Best onstage.

They would have to PAY ME to see those two assholes. I certainly wouldn’t waste my own money.

Yeah. That would be hysterical. I mean historical.

It's too late, that ship has sailed. Bert Kaempfert can't make the reunion.

Or Stu Sutcliffe.

BTW, I do not look forward to hearing any of these tunes piped into the nursing home.

Yoko Ono is star studded?! Did Pee Wee Herman make it? Was Mr. Spacely there? The robot from “Lost in Space” is a bigger star than Ono.

Hell, ALF is even a bugger star than Yoko Ono.

Alf Bicknell was the Beatles' chauffeur for three years. From 1964 to 1966.

You will NEVER see HELP! on British TV because of the “filthy Eastern people with filthy Eastern ways” comment by JOhn.

Paul has long said that he doesn’t want to compromise that legacy they got in the can decades ago (another reason that Let It Be is maintained in the vault but the film will not be officially released to home video since it’s ~1980 video release).

He needs to stop spouting political BS if he wants to “protect” his legacy.

Meanwhile the Beatles’ kids and some other musicians kids are jamming together.
