Mel Gibson has been dropped by William Morris Endeavor Entertainment.
According to Reuters the agency's Patrick Whitesell informed the actor's representatives that he would no longer be represented by the agency.
Ed Limato, Gibson’s agent passed away July 3rd. William Morris Endeavor partner Ari Emanuel had expressed hostility toward Gibson after he made anti-Semitic remarks and implied skepticism about the Holocaust

Well, there won’t be any money in representing him now. Pretty hard to come back from having your image destroyed like this.
I’ve always suspected that Gibson’s raging lunatic character that he has played in several movies is more than just a character. Mix in alcohol and you have a powder keg waiting to go off. It was only a matter of time before this happened. Of course, if he makes another good movie, let’s see how quick Hollywood embraces him again.
He should move to Switzerland and buddy up with Polanski.

Actually they intended to drop Gibson for some time. He'd been with Lamata 32 years and it was known that when he was gone, so was Gibson.
Doesn't matter as he has contracts for 2 movies.

I don’t blame them for dropping Mel. His alcoholism is rendering him unbankable. I am so saddened by the depths to which he seems to have plunged.
Maybe, but I don’t think he is seen as one of them from the beginning anyway. This just adds to stuff they will dislike him for and the list probably still starts with The Passion.
Mel sounds an awful lot like the black rap “artists” when speaking about women. Wonder why no one has a problem with the latter?
