Nick Bacon was a great guy and certainly did all he could for Veterans here in Arkansas. he will be missed. I believe that he was the last surviving Medal of Honor recepient still living in the state. Former Lt. Govenor Nathan Gordon of W.W. II died within the last year I believe. Also a Medal of Honor recepient.

Nick was chairman of the board of Basic Training ministries and was able to gather men and women of great christian integrity and courage around him that are still touching the world for the Lord Jesus Christ.
