CONCORD, CA (KGO) -- A 2-year-old Concord boy died Thursday morning after being attacked by three of his family's pit bulls.
The family has five pet pit bulls living in their home on the 1700 block of Trail Creek Court, according to investigators.
The boy was inside the house with two adults and his four-year-old brother when he walked into the garage where the three dogs were located, said Concord police Lt. Jim Lardieri. The remaining two dogs were in the back yard at the time.
Authorities said the three dogs attacked the boy and caused severe injuries. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Yes, but MY pit bull would never do that. /sarcasm
Grrrrrrr!
Idiot parents. I hope they take away the 4 yr. from them.
prayers up for this poor child.
It’s time to spay/neuter this breed out of existence (same with parents like this that would raise little kids around 5 pit bulls).
>>prayers up for this poor child.<<
Too late. The parents and other who are grieving, however...
Am leaning very heavily in the same direction.
It’s pretty clear a brain transplant would be a waste of a good brain.
I’m so sick of this story....seems like one a week. The other story I’m sick of hearing is the 53 year old guy who goes to meet up with the 12 year old girl he met on-line....who turns out to be a 40 year old police officer. Don’t have pit bulls and don’t chat with underage folks on-line.
You have to have one as you never miss posting an attack article.

What do you mean "to late" I'm not sure why it is to late, can you help me understand?
Christians don’t pray for the dead. Intercessory prayer is all about the living. And this child’s family definitely is needing it right now.
The perfect pitbull owner mindset.
I personally think Pit Bulls are dangerous dogs. I also think driving a car is dangerous (over 40,000 killed in car accidents every year in the US alone). I don’t think either should be banned, but as for me and my family, I apply my beliefs to my actions.
I drive because it’s worth it. I don’t have a pit bull because it’s not. ;)
My post was directed at two people here that every time a pit bull maiming or murder comes up they give a dozen lame excuses for the pit bulls. Like: well...the other day a Labrador maimed a child and a Jack Russell bit the post man on my block. It would make you sick to see their long drawn out phony excuses for defending this worthless animal that was bred to kill.
Ho-hum. Another child ripped apart by a pit bull. So what? As long as pit bull owners are free to artistically express themselves.
While we are at it, why not legalize drunk driving? Should they not also be free to express their drunkenness. So what if a few people get killed? Isn’t freedom worth the price?
Actually, I am completely with you. I used to believe the, “It’s the owner, not the dog.” line. There is way too much empirical AND anecdotal evidence. When I hear Pit Bull apologists say the stats don’t bear out that the dogs are dangerous I hear the government saying the unemployment rate is only 9.5%.
I ain’t buyin’ either.
I'll stick to my spaniels.
