Handgun magazines -- where to buy online?
22 July 2010 | mene

Can some FR members please include links on this thread of where to buy handgun magazines online? I would be most appreciative. Looking for Llama Minimax .45 6-round magazines. Thanks in advance.

Come on people. I just googled “handgun magazines” and got pages and pages of info. Is that too simple for some?

Looks like the government, radicals who want guns to disappear are winning.

Stuff is "disappearing" because people are BUYING it .... demand is still strong because people can see what is coming and they're preparing for it.

Supplies of guns and ammo seem to be better now than

they were 6 months,,,

Cost is still high,,,

I thought the saturation point would have been reached

by now but sales still seem to be high,,,

All the talk at the last few shows was about the state

of the union,,,

Folks here in the Ark-La-Tex are all armed to the teeth,,,

I Pity The Fool that starts a fight with this bunch...;0)

I found ammoclip, gunclip, midway, cabelas, gunbroker, cheaper than dirt. You shouldn’t have a problem finding what you want. I don’t think they are winning, we have gun shows around here at least every month, and plenty of places to shoot and purchase.

Pro-Mag does seem to have a good reputation. The one brand which I personally would stay away from is U.S.A. They look cheap and are of poor quality. Also malfunction in a gun which never jams with any other mag. I bought two of them during the ban as they were the only ones I could find.

After I got some good quality ones, I literally took a hammer to the U.S.A. ones.

Bought a new ATI folding stock for my SKS and a couple 20 rnd metal mags from Sportmen Guide, first time doing bussiness with them, stock was very good but the mags were pure junk, think i’ll stick with Midway in the future.

Those kind of magazines. I thought, "Nobody reads that stuff anymore. They're all too commercial."

Here's an ad for one.

I have had good and bad luck with Sportsman’s Guide. At first I bought several items with no problem then had a series of defective items including some binoculars. They were inexpensive but had BaK4 prisms, so I thought they had to be OK. I ordered 6 various ones and I think 4 of them were defective.

The two which were not defective did indeed turn out to be decent. Not in the same class as Zeiss or Swarovski but completely usable.

I later ordered another brand and it was defective too. I finally just gave up on them.

I e-mailed and check on that one. Won't fit. I am looking specifically for the following:

8-round double stack for Minimax II .45 subcompact. It will not take the 10-round magazine is what my sources are telling me.

Tnx ... Mene

This is not a simple problem. The mags for this specific gun are a bit tough to find. However, I’ll find one. Just need one.

My bad...it is NOT the 6-round, but he 8-round double stack which the gun requires.

I’m seeing them for 7 rounds, just like the Colt. You’re sure it’s a 6 rounder? Cause it looks like you might be out of luck on that one.

If it’s a double stack, where are you seeing them? Thanks.
