Ummmm, most history was the history of White people... guess white people were more into writing the stuff - and wrote about themselves.

I decided about 10 years ago to stop fighting the left’s arguments for them like that.

School history books tend to cover material relevant to the country in question. History, as traditionally taught, is an account of the past exploits of national figures and leaders, combined with bits and pieces about the zeitgeist of various time frames, and national origin narratives. In the US, the national leaders are 99% white, and the origins of American political philosophy are in Europe (roughly 100% white). Having a White History Month in America would be redundant - American history is (mostly) white history, just as Nigerian history is black history and Japanese history is yellow history.
It’s good to pay attention to the food that winds up on the calendar, like usually next month Village Inn will have a deal on peach cobbler because August is National Peach Month. You can blow a diet to pieces real cheap using the commemorative month calendar.

A congress could refuse to recognize any month based on skin color, I don’t see anyone with that kind of juevos in congress.

It’s generally assumed that the other months, events, and significant portions of history are reserved for “whites”.
