Maybe not surprising, but the groom looks a little like George W.

Susan Ford was a beautiful woman, but I don't know whyshe chose to dress in this shroud-like ensemble. Do you suppose it was a family heirloom dress?

Woah... I haven’t seen those pics before either. I did a spit-take there... figures that she’s gone totally earth-muffin. Wanna bet that the wedding cake was all organic and “sustainably” sourced, “cruelty-free” ingredients?

I just spent an hour looking for Alice Roosevelt because I've seen her wedding picture and it is stunning. But, I couldn't find her "wedding" picture on the web. Lots of pictures of "Princess" Alice but none specifically identified as her wedding picture. Luci Baines Johnson is here, #5:

Yes, I wonder how many of these marriages are still ongoing? I don’t think the Robbs divorced after their scandal, but her sister, Luci, did. Dorothy Bush has been divorced. Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg is rumored to be in the process of divorcing. Alice Roosevelt Longworth had a daughter by a paramour while still married to her husband.

Who cares? They are not royalty. We separated from Britain so we wouldn’t have crap like this.

Nobody ever said they were royalty. Don’t you ever look at wedding pictures in your family? It’s fun to look at how the styles have changed.

Sure. But I just don’t get why politicians family members getting married is that big of a deal.

Just googled "Alice Roosevelt wedding" and this was the second pic that came up:

Father of the bride looking very evident, as usual. But isn't that a GORGEOUS dress? You can see why her nickname was "Princess Alice".

Note the “Jackie Kennedy” pill box hat on Maureen as a wedding headdress. The photo in #31 was taken in 1964; Jackie was in her heyday in 1963.

That’s one of the pictures I was looking for. Alice Roosevelt, it seems, couldn’t take a bad picture. And she had quite a wit.

I believe she said the her father, Teddy, “wanted to be the bride at every wedding and the corpse at every funeral”.

Luckily, one that is missing is Ross Perot’s World Class Daughter. Of course, the silly GOP almost disrupted her wedding.
