The longer his presidency drags on, the more dumbfounded I am at what he can get away with. Can you imagine the following people dressing like that photo of him getting out of the car? Try Newt Gingrich, Ronald Reagan, Mitch Romney, Bill Clinton...just for starters. Do you suppose these photos have been photoshopped?

What should embarrass you as an American is not so much this picture, but the fact that we have a fat and happy Congress that does not even bother to determine 0’s origins when there is enough evidence to warrant an investigation.

That picture shows what years of anger and bitterness can do to a person’s face. Dickens wrote, “We wear the chains we forge in life.” We also wear the wrinkles, scars, and lines etched in our face by our own inner selves. What a pathetic woman she is today.
The area I grew up in it was not uncommon for lower income black women to where fuzzy slippers out in public, to the store ect..
Kinda like wearing pj bottoms I see some lower income white people do where we live now.
The sandels Obama is wearing remind me of house slippers in a Malaysian/Asian home.

I wonder about your obsession with it. There have been lots of times that I have seen something that I've looked at every day, and I get a flash of insight that I never had before.
I think you're missing the whole point. It's not that Obama married a woman that looked old enough to be his mother. She is a "mother figure" for him - the black mother he did not have - that he probably longed to have, especially since his black father was absent from his life.
I think there is a correlation between men whose fathers were physically or emotionally absent from them at a crucial time in their childhood - a correlation between that and a propensity for a man to be gay, or bisexual. I'll probably be poo-pooed for saying that & asked for scientific evidence - but it's mostly just an observation of mine. Obama fits the profile perfectly.
Seeing the picture, I can understand the insight.
maybe that is why he has his hands together as he bounces down the steps on AF1 when he deplanes.
