Apple ‘data mines’ as much as Google on their devices, including computers. It’s not just Google. So do the networks. You send email (phone & computer) or text messages? Guess what.... they’re watching you.

And you know this exactly how? How does Apple gather this data from its locked down computers with all ports closed? Do you know this for a fact, or are you just talking out of your hat?

On the other hand, I have to agree with you that what you send on the net, once it leaves your computer, is no longer yours. You can have no expectation of privacy... On the net, you are an open book.

Well documented ad nauseam.
Your head in the sand about this will change nothing in your mind.

Maybe venture away from fanboy sites for 5 seconds and you might learn something.

One of the many reasons I got rid of my Mac was because it phoned home constantly. Data packets. Apple mined my default email address in one. Much of the info was code and probably usage statistics (I never looked into that stuff). Why would they be sending my email address back to their servers?

Clue: there are no locked down ports when the OS is sending out info without your permission or, in your case, knowledge.

But I like your instant denial and defense. You are a true-blue ‘fanboy’. You sound exactly like a democrat when Dear Leader is insulted with the truth.
At the very least, you guys sure are entertaining.
