Surprising thing about Tiger's slide? It's no longer surprising (Phil is one shot off the lead)

Exactly. I think everybody else hit the gyms like mad. Phil supposedly powerlifts. What is insane is you see a 5’9” to 5’10” Rory McIllroy at 21 or 22 and he is pretty slight. The kid has such tempo and Phil raved about his ball striking. No way Rory is using any PEDs and he is crushing it. Rory is averaging right at 300 yards but golf fans on golfwrx said he booms 320 yards drives regularly.

Phil said the kids are better ballstrikers at their age then he was.

Everyone raved about the old Tiger’s irons but Phil’s iron play at the Masters was some of the best I ever saw. I cancelled TV - due endless O propaganda - so I had to watch on computer.

I looked at Mahan’s Sunday numbers and they said his drives were averaging 343. It had to be a type but it was PGA numbers.

I think the only way he comes back is he goes back on the PEDs. This doctor investigation and the concern Elin might blow the whistle forced him to lie low. He is spraying shots everywhere so the upper body muscles may be messed up. The swing is off but the lack of PEDs is the problem.

On GolfWrx - some Tiger fan boy said “he should swallow his pride and go back to Butch Harmon.”

Another guy responded saying “Butch has already said he will not take him back.” Butch has a lot of good guys that he likes such as Phil, Adam Scott, Nick Watney, Dustin Johnson and I think Ernie.

Butch is a straight shooter and I think he thinks Cheetah is a punk.

Did you see Whistling Straights they are playing this week in MI? Nightmare with 970 bunkers. It looks like Scottish links course or a over the top copy of one. Bunkers everywhere. Tiger, and Phil for that matter, will have to use 3 woods and 5 woods. It makes the Firestone course look like a walk in the park.

Michigan is trying to become a “golf mecca” because they sure as h*ll have done everything to drive manufacturing out of the state. Kind of dumb too considering the winters there - ie it “ain’t” Scotsdale.
