I still think it is a fish.
Something humblegunner would catch and eat.

How stupid are people?
It is a fox with mange and little bit of pond scum.

It is getting close to Football season. Is this a portend of the upcoming Mich. Football season.

It’s a fox with severe demodectic mange and it’s probably suffering terribly.
Long term doses of Ivermectin would cure it but no one will likely treat it.
How sad for the poor, hurting thing.

They could easily leave out some canned dog food with Ivermectin in it.
They’d have to do it daily for months, though.

whether fox or coyote - it's an animal in distress asking for human help. Wow, you are a real animal lover. If that showed up in my yard in TX, I would help it get to coyote heaven very quickly.
To: shibumi
It’s a hybrid. Note the stripes on the legs.
Maybe a coytote and Tasmanian Wof.

That was a nice post and I agree with you. It sure has a long tail even for a fox don’t you think? No normal coyote has a tail that long.

Definitely a snipe, you can tell by the markings

This is what happens when taxpayers flee a dying region. Obviouly welfare could have spared the poor animal this terrible fate. We can only hope that Obama will have Congress sneak in a few table scraps from Michell`s recent party in Spain.
Maybe even share some of Bo`s food.

Its very clear the fox is ill. Whether mange or a genetic flaw that stopped fur growth, no way the poor thing makes it through a Michigan winter without a coat.

You are a very kind person. Most people would have tossed the mouse into the field—at best. Mice make very sweet pets. I didn’t know they live as long as five years, though.

It’s a fox with a bad case of mange. I’ve seen them before and up close like this one.
