Good point. It also gives gun-grabbing government-types the hint that you’re likely a gun owner.

Hmmmm, hold two rifles or shotguns in a lockable, watertight compartment. Geniuses!! All this time all we needed to take our guns in the truck was a lockable, watertight compartment...oh, wait...

The tag and the stickers don't help any.

Yup. Had to put this one down afterward. The poor little Evinrude motor took three shots (from my buddy's gun, of course).

I like the option of a lateral box like this, because it leaves the loadbed free to take a bed-mounted trailer hitch (for a gooseneck). The lock structure looks flimsy, though.

I've owned all the big trucks for 35 years

No question Dodge Cummins is the best diesel power

torque and acceleration and gas mileage

my 2007 Dodge Mega Cab 2500 got 21 mpg overall

and to doubters I can prove it...i photoed the onboard computer for Thomases

by contrast my 2009 Ford 250 diesel got around 12 mpg and burned thru a 4000 dollar fuel filter (burn off epa shite) in only 40,000 miles and was slow as crap without a chip upgrade

Ford and GMC have more styling no doubt...piped leather and all that

but give me a Dodge Cummins anyday

don't need no stinkin chip btw

I like the idea of a concealed gun box like a waterfroof underbed box custom built to the frame of the vehicle you may have to get under the truck to get into it but its a totaly defensive move to have a hidden box anyway ...Be Prepared at all times

I like that under the seat gun storage. As long as it was sufficiently sturdy, it’d be a great idea. Well, if one owned a gun, that is. *grin*

When I was a lot younger, Dodge came out with a promotion for their Texas version pick-up truck. It came with a back window gun rack and a brand new Winchester lever-action 30-30.

Easier to EMP-proof as well, from what I understand.

So the best part of a Dodge is made by Cummins? :)

Doesn’t seem to be a smart place to keep a rifle. How in the hell are you gonna be able to shoot traffic signs with the damn thing in the rear? Silly engineers.

Think: soccer moms with tail gunners...

Hope you aren’t another one of those FReepers who *tragically lost* their guns in a freak boating accident. ;)

I’m thinkin’ we could make a bundle on offering safe boating courses to posters who seem to be having numerous untimely accidents with their firearms.
