My only problem with this wonderful clip/quotation is that it was at the end of the Reagan Administration and was about to be replaced by “a kinder and gentler America” and 12 years later, “compassionate conservatism”. How foolish of the two Bushes! Unfortunately, the best of the lot (Jeb), lost his first big election and that denied him what should have been his own presidency.
I believe that God put this land between the two great oceans to be found by special people from every corner of the world who had that extra love of freedom that prompted them to leave their homeland and come to this land to make it a brilliant light beam of freedom to the world.Thanks Michael Zak. Of course, that doesn't include Moslems -- their only goal is the enslavement of the rest of humanity.
