Diana Dors sports car fetches $3m at auction (Beautiful auto, car lovers must see)

A sports car once owned by the late British actress Diana Dors has sold for $3 million (£1.9m) at a California auction.
The 1949 Delahaye Roadster, which some have dubbed the most beautiful car in the world, was given to Dors when she was 17.
The sky blue car has been described by auctioneers as "extravagant and outrageous - a rolling sculpture".
Dors, who was seen as the British Marilyn Monroe, died in 1984 aged 52

The wipers, windows, etc on the SM (I am afraid to imagine what the etc. could be) are hydraulically operated. The hydraulic fluid is the engine oil. The consequences of a leak on the way to a remote mountain home could be pretty expensive. That someone still drives a '73 (pretty often, too) is amazing. Detailed, frequent, and thorough maintanance is vital.

I vote for Dors (top), over Mansfield (bottom). More natural beauty in the face without as much makeup required. It's a tough decision but I agree....and always feel free to post similar pictures to me if you need my opinion.

They like being miserable and passing judgement to elevate their synthetic egos.
I think that car is beautiful and those women were as well.
Oh, and I been to the MM and there are truly stunning cars there.

Dors looks better there. Mansfield had a smaller waist and larger...well you know. Jayne had a very IQ. Sad both of them died so young. Ditto Marilyn but she was just an effing total train wreck.

Later in life, Dors got very heavy-——in the Peter Sellers movie “There’s a Girl in My Soup” she was real heavy-—she did not play a glam/girl.

It might look like a gut to you, but to me it appears the way her clothing is made, and the fact that it is reflective. I would take her over any of the beanpole actresses now.

Marilyn died so young.......but she was just an effing total train wreck. But she never looked more beautiful....... when they fired her.
“Something’s Got To Give” studio shots with that gorgeous side-swept hair. MM
was quoted as saying she felt she never looked better (she was on the low-carb
diet to prepare for the pic).

I looked up Jayne’s wiki out of curiousity because she appeared to be tall. Listed as 5’6” but at the autopsy 5’8”. 40-21-32. Mama mia!
Anita Ekberg may have been the hottest.
