A new study may help explain it. Men who earn significantly less than their female partners, or who earn nothing, are far more likely to cheat than those in relationships where incomes are more or less equal, the study found.
In fact, men who were completely dependent on their partner's income were five times more likely to cheat than men who contributed an equal amount of money to the relationship, according to research presented at the annual meeting of the American Sociological Association.
You’d think such men wouldn’t want to risk their meal ticket. But lower-earning men may be self-medicating their inner macho guy, says Cornell University sociology graduate student Christin Munsch, who conducted the study.

Interesting theory - it would mean the women picked the men as part of the domination attitude that enabled them to make the big money in the first place, which they then translated into being able to dominate an otherwise undominatable man - who then fought back by proving they couldn't be controlled. So the whole thing is a power fight.
But - gasp - that would mean the woman isn't pure, noble, heart-driven, honest, patient, kind, mature, excellent, perfect and always right. Nah, it'll never fly. Find another theory - the power women will tell you when you get one that is acceptable.
Isn't that redundant?

If a person’s not needed, why care what you do?
I think it’s one reason why abortion has screwed everything up. What’s a guy good for if he can throw away anything that gets in his way? And when you create a generation of men that thinks that way - like the welfare class - why should these guys care what they do? Why NOT screw around? Why NOT do drugs? Why NOT join gangs or engage in violence?
Communism wants everybody to be provided for no matter what choices they make. IOW, a person’s choices make absolutely no difference to the outcomes for them and those around them.
It’s a recipe for a person to lose their whole vitality and will to live. If nothing matters, then what are we even here for?
That’s why communism is a downward spiral. We’re meant to have a vocation, a place in life. When that’s gone, why not just go rot in the corner somewhere? Nobody needs you anyway?
People are not meant to be moochers, and when they are it makes them crazy.
