Look into it, they have very several options, some are very high levels of Allicin from Garlic, the lower dose you can order online without a prescription. They will talk to your doctor, he can order the high dose. Anyway, I will say a prayer for you and hope this info helps.

And apple cider vinegar.

Agreed, AVC help restore my health, but you don't want to over do it. It's helps restore your alkalinity, kills off a ton of stuff by restoring your terrain. Great for sinus infections and so on ...

Learn how to use garlic, honey, oil of oregano, etc.
Bingo! This morning I had a tall glass of hot garlic water made from boiling several cloves of organic garlic in purified water and adding organic honey. And about ten minutes ago, I made an Oregano Essential Oil (must be therapeutic oil!) capsule for my husband. The six of us haven't been to our family doctor (except for maybe once or twice) in the last three years.

Wow, I am sorry to hear what you are going through! I had a picc line for 2 months for an infection - antibiotics wouldn’t touch it and I ended up with surgery to remove 18 inches of my colon. I cannot imagine having an infection like that in an area like the spine. I say a prayer for you.

My son just had spinal surgery and I was very concerned about MRSA. While we waited for him I used bleach that I brought from home and cleaned his patient room top to bottom, I also asked every nurse, doc, and tech to wash and purell their hands before coming in the room. If they touched their pager, I asked them to wash again.

I had one doc refuse to either wash his hands or wear gloves and I refused to let him touch my son. I also did not allow any outside visitors until the incision was completely closed. In short, I was a pain in the backside, because, well, it’s my son.

We are 2 months post op and no sign of infection, but we have to be careful with dental appts and such.

The info does help. I just see a bunch of silly posts on here.
I am 100% mrsa will kill me eventually due to the serious nature of this (I’ve never had a “sore on my knee”) Its internal and I’m my spine. People don’t realize mrsa kills more folks in the US than AIDS. I’m just not in a “protected” social class. No publicity, no funding.

I’m glad you beat it! Hope it staying that way. Since 1/09 I’ve had a picc in more often than not. I did one round of zyvox(pill) but that cost me over $9000 and didn’t work.

My 81 year old uncle just died a few weeks ago. He lived in Quito, Ecuador. In July he fell and broke his arm. He developed an infection, which lead to pneumonia. The antibiotics could not fight off the infection. He died within a month.

I wonder to myself if it would have mattered if he had been in a US hospital or not. For the past twelve years whenever he needed medical treatment he had flown from Quito to Cincinnatti for his medical care. This wasn’t an option for him in the end.

Have you tried Hyperbaric therapy?
My SiL had MRSA in his knee from an ACL operation. Went the picc line , vac pump route for a year. Infection spread into the bone.

Finally got hyperbaric treatments. Wound finally closed.
Bacteria may still be harbored in the bone but he has no symptoms now.

I have heard tales that tell of exposing blood to UV light, then reinjecting it will kill many dangerous bacteria, and some are using Hydrogen Peroxide in ways I don’t understand to do the same. Is there any truth to these being treatments that work?

I dont know whether it's the most eloquent, but it certainly provides us with a useful example.

Call me when the bacteria turn into something besides a bacteria. :)

Interesting. Never heard of the hyperbaric option. Seems the laminectomies and I&D’s arent doing the trick. Little pockets still remain in the epidural space.
The problem is there are only 2 ID doctors in Tallahassee. Next time its Shands or Mayo Clinic in Minnesota.

I think you've hit the nail on the head.

As an observer to multiple hospital stays and the cleaning practices on the personnel, it's my opinion that too much reliance is placed on the spray bottle antiseptic. Good old sanitary and antiseptic scrubbing and wiping are things of the past.
An orderly comes in, squirts his little bottle, gives the toilet seat the once over and walks out.
Last time I was admitted to a hospital room there was bandage wrappers under the bed.

Check into it. Are you in Tallahassee? Should be plenty of chambers around there, scuba diving and all.

Forgot to mention that the chamber is pressurized w/ pure oxygen.

Agreed, I’ve had hospital stays in the past. I see how they clean. I also re-cleaned my son’s room with bleach after it was ahem... “cleaned”... by the hospital staff.

A close relative had confirmed swine flu. Spent a lot of time around him. Even stayed at his house before and after.

For him, it was a mild flu. For me, I *may* have caught it — felt a little icky for about a day.

We’d had our normal flu vaccines, but not the swine flu one.

That whole thing was a bunch of hype and fearmongering, with very little truth to it. Sure, some people got it, and even a few probably died, but no worse than normal flu.

“If they are not prescribed for everything, then an attorney will sue the non-prescriber for not prescribing.”

There is no coincidence that antibiotic resistant TB comes from the third world, and this new one comes from India.

Generally, people in first world countries will take a full course of antibiotics when needed.

In Mexico, many antibiotics are available over the counter.

The answer to this problem is one that the world is not prepared to hear.

Invent new antibiotics, and don’t share them with the third world, or possibly anyone. If you do, you assure their ineffectiveness over time.

Don’t allow third world visitors or immigrants without a medical exam/quarantine period, and expedited return when anything questionable is found.

There is no reason for “world travel” to make disease spread a sure thing - this is something liberals like to propagate so that the first world gets to experience all the joys of third world living, from time-to-time.

Don’t think salad dressing is going to work if vanco, bactrim, zyvox, cubicin, etc hasn’t worked.

Good one!!!

Disclaimer: I have self-treated with the elements of "salad dressing", particularly Oil of Oregano for incipient viral infections and honey for superficial skin infections, but once an infection gets entrenched as yours is, forget it.
