It is Spa - you don’t need to pray for rain. It will rain at least somewhere on the course.

Vettel Vettel Vettel!

Red Bull not looking too good today. Hope they do better in qualifying.

I like Webber, he’s not bad for a number 2 driver.

Webber has done an incredible job. The guy is really too big for an F1 car so that is his first strike. Vettel is the child prodigy and baby schumi - with amazing talent. Webber just got in there and shcoked everyone.

I wonder if Webber will be there next year. I thought Red Bull had already signed Kimi last year for the seat. Obviously we never know until the end of this year.

I like Alonso too. I knew he would be a great when he first started at Minardi. Youngest champion and youngest double champion.

Looks like it is a good track for Red Bull, I think they were saving their engines for qualifying.

Fantastic job by Mark!

Mark is on the pole but with a very small margin which is typical for a high speed track and Red Bull. Red Bull had Ferrari by over a second in qualifying at Budapest, Germany was very close, was 8 tens over Ferrari at the British GP, out qualified at Canada and 3 tens at Monaco. Red Bull won Monaco, British, Budapest (tight tracks) and did not win Turkey, Canada, Germany (high speed tracks). So the Red Bull is a great tight track car but does not have a tremendous advantage on the long, high speed tracks. Of course the lower HP Renault engine is one aspect along with the higher down force of the Red Bull.

So we now have a high speed track and the chance of rain, so this will be interesting.

Don't get me wrong, I think it would be great for Mark and Red Bull to win the championship. It's just interesting how they keep shooting themselves in the foot.

You are spot on Lockbox, and Red Bull do have a habit of doing themselves in. The engine HP is a factor but they sure have got the aerodynamics.

Today the light rain during Q3 was what allowed Mark to hold pole position. Rain, safety cars, tire choices, etc - tomorrow will be interesting indeed!
