JOHNSON COUNTY (August 27, 2010)A 3-year-old Johnson County boy who was severely injured in an attack by two pit bulls Thursday was in Cook Childrens Medical Center in Fort Worth Friday.
The attack occurred Thursday afternoon outside a residence in the 8000 block of County Road 526 in rural Johnson County.
Authorities credited the boys aunt for throwing herself across the youngster and then pulling him to safety inside the house.
When deputies arrived, a Care Flight medical helicopter was on the ground, but the crew was unable to get out because of the two dogs.
When deputies got out of their vehicles, the dogs attacked them, Johnson County Sheriff Bob Alford said Friday.
Deputies killed one of the dogs, Alford said.
Then they and paramedics entered the house where they found the badly injured boy and his aunt lying on the floor.
The youngster was flown to Cook and his aunt was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Details about the nature of the injuries the boy and his aunt suffered and the names of the victims were not released Friday.
The only thing on earth worse, or as bad as a pit bull owner, is an Obot.
They all need to be euthanized.
Dog of peace strikes again.
Sounds like the gangbangers are dropping their more useless animals out in the country like everyone else.
