I have a rottie and the only thing he “kills” is his stuffed animals....beyond that, he is a 120 lb lap dog that loves to give kisses and be petted. He is the most popular dog at the local Petsmart whenever I take him in...he is so incredibly eager to please. I’m sure there are bad ones, but I’d trust mine with my life—or anyone else’s!!
The first Rottie I was exposed to jumped on the sofa with me, put his head on my lap... and fell asleep.
He even slept thru my checking his teeth... don’t ask. ;)
His owner understands big dogs & raised him accordingly...
I owned two Rotts...one saved my girlfriends’s life from a serial rapist killer in Gainesville Florida in 1987.
I now have a one year old Standard American Bulldog...he’s a hoss too.
