I have been going online today to various news outlets and they all differ on the gulf oil platform that blew up today.
Cheney and Rove did it. /sarc
All they needed was a simple delivery boom and some magnets.
Heard that there’s a 1 mile “sheen” around the rig. Fact or fiction?

We dont even know if there was an explosion. All we know is there is a fire on top of the platform. How does an underwater mine, using magnets, climb out of the water, then another 50 feet and jump on top of the platform?

Per AP “Rig, platform - don’t understand why anyone would be upset, there’s no difference”. We should be thankful they at least didn’t say it occurred in the Mexican Ocean, although I understand that LA Governor now has his own Coast Guard. And we expect to get anything accurate from the press on this? We still haven’t had disclosure on the last one.

Fox’s headline say “OIL RIG EXPLODES OFF LOUSIANA COAST”
And they are reporting oil sheen.
Just more proof that this was an act of sabotage. ;)
The update is the platform was producing 59,000 gallons of oil and 900,000 cubic feet of gas per day. The platform can store 4,200 gallons of oil.
So why can't you do this from a miniature submarine ~ sneak up on them, surface on one side the platform, toss a Molotov cocktail, and be gone in seconds.
Until we know the precise type of platform all things are possible.
I’m not sure the difference between rig and platform but the thing produces and holds oil and gas.
Heard Megyn Kelly on Fox @11AM say this. Haven’t heard or or read any more about it. I rely on FR for the facts!
