I’ve always thought they were so cute. My sis-in-law had a miniature. He was tenacious! Didn’t like anyone but her, though. My brother-in-law used to call him a football with teeth! :)

We got our first GSD when Mr. Brad was 1 year. They grew up together...as fine pals...so yes, babies and puppies...IF THE ADULT HAS WHAT IT TAKES to realize the dog needs training too.
That task is NOT for everyone!!

He only barks when someone slips up on him. He HAS to be around one human at all times. So, if he knows only me and my wife are home, and someone appears at the door... or if our son gently knocks on the door... lookout. He sounds much much bigger than he is.
He respects aggression it seems. If you just walk into the house, he probably won’t bark. But knock gingerly... lookout.
I have heard him bark 4 times in 5 weeks.

I can see the tenacious side sometimes. But. I specifically waited until I found a mini that was very calm. That was our over-riding factor. We found the perfect one. He is the sweetest, most gentle puppy I have ever been around. He loves jumping in peoples laps and taking a nap.
